XBD-ISW Horizontal Fire Fighting Pump

The XBD-ISW single-suction multi-stage sectional fire-fighting pump is designed for transporting clean water or liquids with similar physical and chemical properties to water, free of solid particles. It is mainly used in fire-fighting systems for boosting water pressure, but can also be applied in industrial and municipal water supply and drainage systems. The pump's flow range is from 5 to 330 L/s, with a pressure range of 0.2 to 2.25 MPa. The motor power range is from 4 to 160 kW, and the pump's inlet and outlet diameter range from Ф50 to Ф500 mm.

Product Features
1. The pump has a compact structure, small size, and aesthetically pleasing design. The center of gravity coincides with the center of the pump foot, which enhances the stability and service life of the pump during operation.
2. Both the suction inlet and discharge outlet are horizontal, simplifying the connection of the piping system.
3. The multi-stage design allows the suction inlet and discharge outlet to be arranged in the same direction or at 90°, 180°, or 270° angles to meet different connection requirements.
4. The pump pressure can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of pump stages and cutting the impeller's outer diameter, without changing the installation footprint. This feature is unique compared to other types of pumps.
5. The pump rotor has minimal runout, resulting in smooth operation, low vibration, low noise, and long service life.


Main Applications

The XBD-ISW Horizontal Fire Fighting Pump is primarily used for boosting water pressure in fire-fighting system pipelines. It is also suitable for industrial and municipal water supply and drainage, boosting water pressure in high-rise buildings, long-distance water supply, heating, bathing, boiler hot and cold water circulation, air conditioning systems, and equipment support.


Structure Description

The XBD-ISW Horizontal Fire Fighting Pump consists of two parts: the motor and the pump. The motor is a Y-type three-phase asynchronous motor. The pump and motor are connected by a coupling, with a rigid connection, so no alignment is required during use.
The pump is made up of the stator and rotor sections. The stator consists of the inlet section, middle section, guide vane, outlet section, and stuffing box. To prevent wear on the stator, it is equipped with sealing rings, balance sleeves, and other parts that can be replaced when worn.
The rotor consists of the shaft, middle wheel, balance drum, and other components. The lower end of the rotor has a water-lubricated bearing, while the upper part features an angular contact ball bearing.  of the axial force is borne by the balance drum, with a small residual downward axial force handled by the angular contact ball bearing. The joint faces of the inlet section, middle section, and outlet section are sealed with paper gaskets, and tightening is used to ensure a seal, with users having the option to select as needed.
